Bollywood Hero movie review
The youngsters of Bollywood however are willing to take more risks and have used murderous and mysterious paths in an effort to achieve stardom. What’s more some have even directed their journey to 2050!
Neil Nitin Mukesh: Though he looks like a chocolate boy with luscious brown eyes and rosy lips, legendary singer Mukesh's grandson chose to make a dark debut as Johnny Gaddaar in Sriram Raghavan's tribute to the cinema of the 70s. His suave Gaddaar managed to hold his own and fool stalwarts such as Dharmendra and Vinay Pathak. Neil won critical acclaim, female fans and special awards for the gaddari! Up next is a film with Bips called Freeze and Kabir Khan's next with John and Katrina Kaif.
Rajeev Khandelwal: Time Bomb, Left Right Left and the big break Kahiin Toh Hoga, made Rajasthan's Rajeev Ekta Kapoor's blue eyed boy a TV star. He chose to break away from television into the big bad world of Bollywood with a very unique, solo character movie called Aamir where the brilliant script focused only on him. And Boy, did he excel! Rajeev won a standing ovation for his gritty performance as the protagonist at the premiere of the film and critics and audience cannot stop raving about the film! This boy has some long innings in Bollywood.
Sikandar: Kirron Kher's son assisted the sultans of romance; Adi Chopra on Mohabbatein and SLB on Devdas. But the moc-ha skinned actor chose to win hearts with playing a greedy womanizer in Woodstock Villa. Though the film failed, Sikandar's screen presence, intense eyes and acting got noticed by the right people. Summer 2007 releases this Friday and things sure look bright for this talented actor.
Harman Baweja: Harman dances, talks, walks and looks like Hrithik Roshan but don't blame the poor lad if his parents made him like that! Isn’t it a privilege to look like the Greek God? This year's most hyped debut is a love story yes, but, a risky futuristic one. Whether the risk pays off or not, Harman has already bagged Priyanka Chopra's affection, female fans (thanks to his performance at IIFA) and Ash Gowariker's What's Your Rashee with Priyanka again. Looking like Hrithik sure has its benefits!
Farhan Akhtar: The alarmingly cute award winning director of DCH has worked with superstars Aamir, Hrithik, Saif and SRK in his first 3 films. Now he has chosen to give his heroes some competition with his rocking musical venture Rock On. Insiders say people have loved Farhan's new look and performance in his debut. The immensely talented genY son,
